Thieves last night struck in the house of a head assistant posted in BDO office, Surankot and robbed thousands of rupees in cash and gold ornaments from the house.
According to reports, last night thieves struck in the house of Harbans Lal, resident of Mendhar when no one was present in the house and looted the material from the house.
Today morning, when the owner of the house returned to the house he found the home ransacked.
After booking the information a police team rushed to spot and after verifying the matter police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
