| Cash bag create panic in Bus Stand | | |

Police today recovered a bag from Bus Stand area which contained Rs Nine lakhs in cash.
Earlier today panic was created in the area, when some people spotted a bag at the outer gate of the bus stand in suspicious conditions.
Fearing that the bag might contain a bomb, the people ran away from the spot and shopkeepers closed their shutters fearing for their lives.
The matter was brought into the notice of Bus Stand police station which rushed to spot led by SHO Rajesh Sharma.
However, much to the surprise of every one after verification, the police after opening the bag recovered 9 lakh rupees cash from the bag.
Reports said that their was one thousand notes of 500 and four hundred notes of 1000 in the bag. Police is investigating the matter and no body was claimed in this regard as last report came.
Meanwhile, sources said that this could be the case of Hawala money as no one has come to the police to claim the money.
The money was either meant for militants in Jammu or it was to be picked to be transferred to Kashmir by a courier, they added.
