| Army jawan arrested with pistol | | |

A army jawan was today arrested from Jammu Bus Stand along with an unlicensed pistol and some rounds, while he was boarding a bus. According to reports, Bus Stand police today during routine patrolling in the area saw one person in suspicious circumstances and called him for checking. During the checking police recovered one pistol and five rounds from his possession and took him to police station for further interrogation where he told police that he was carrying the weapon to his house. He has been identified as Vijay Chouhan resident of Himachal and he was posted in Mendhar. Police after registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter.
