| Army constructs additional rooms for MS Kasba Tain | | | Jammu May 18 A small but sincere step has been taken by Army in providing two class rooms with ancillaries at Government Middle School, Kasba Tain of Nowshera tehil in Rajouri district under Operation Sadbhavana. The newly constructed class rooms were inaugurated by Commander Nowshera Brigade at a function held in the village. The function, besides the Army officers was attended by Sanjeev Khajuria,, Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pawan Kumar, Tehsildar, Tahir Ashraf, SDPO, Mohammed Tafil Mir, SHO and prominent educationists, ex servicemen and village heads. Speaking on the occasion, Brigade Commander referred the progress made by the nation since independence and recalled the sacrifices made by the locals and the Army in defeating the enemy on Line of Control. The Commander also stressed on the importance of good relations between Army and civil population and thanked the people for their continued support to the Army in the overall efforts to restore normalcy in the area. He exhorted the school administration and the students to keep the school campus neat and clean and aim to become responsible citizens of our great nation. He also expressed sincere intent of the Army to facilitate progress in remote areas of the state by development of infrastructure through Operation Sadbhavana and Border Area Development Projects. Villagers appreciated the ongoing efforts of the Army and expressed their gratitude to the Brigade Commander for ensuring timely completion of large number of developmental projects with strict quality control. On this occasion, the students of the school presented a colourful cultural program enthralling the large audience. Prizes were also distributed among the outstanding students of the school, besides felicitating senior citizens and Ex-servicemen.
