| Stipend for educated unemployed sought | | | Jammu | May 19 Yuva Janta Dal Uniteed (YJDU) president, Inder Mohinder Tar Singh has demanded that Jammu region should get 56 assembly seats, keeping in view the population and area of the region. Addressing a press conference here today, Singh said, the parties which came into power in the state, have rendered step motherly treatment to the region and have kept people in dark. Leaders of these parties are responsible for the backwardness of the Jammu province. He appealed the leaders, who speak in favour of ‘Jammu region’, to unite and work for the over all development of region. State Abhinav Anand said the state Govt. is doing nothing for the employment of educated youth. He demanded that the state government should provide stipend till the time they are without job. He said highly qualified youth are without job and the govt. is doing nothing for them. Among other present were Vikas Aggarwal, Jagjjit Singh, Amit Sethi, Amit Gandotra, parul Sharma, Akshay Kapoor, Subash Sharma, Sumit Anand and Mumnna Bhaiya. Beside senior leaders S.P. Magotra, V.K. Mishra and Dr. A.K. Kharu were also present at the press meet.
