Hyderabad blast:Police action condemned, youth burn effigy of YSR

Jammu, May 19,
In order to register strong voices of protest against the police action on survivors of Hyderabad blast inside famous Mecca mosque near Charminar area in which over one dozen people died and several others were injured,local businessmen and several community members in Talab Khatikan area downed their shutter and burnt effigies of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
Slogan shouting youth gathered outside the Jama Masjid Mosque after taking out silent protest march in other Muslim dominated localities and condemned the police action on the survivors and blast victims.
They also demanded dismissal of top police cop of Andhra Pradesh and a detailed inquiry in to the incidents preceding the blast.
President of Muslim Action committee Mohd Sharief Sartaj while condemning the police action in strong words said that a deliberate attempt has been made by certain divisive forces to create atmosphere of unrest across the country and advised the security agencies to read a pattern in to recent attacks on places of worship.
Demanding action against the Andhar police chief, Mohd Sharief Sartaj said that police action on survivors of the blast looked a pre planned move and should not have happened. He also raised several question marks over the absence of routine security checks near the sensitive mosque area and termed it as senseless act. He also cautioned Home Minister ShivRaj Patil to adopt a cautious approach while jumping to the conclusion over the identity of mastermind behind the blast. He also appealed to the Dear Sacha Sauda chief not to stretch the uneasy calm in Punjab and submit an apology in the large interest of the peace.
