Charak releases “Bas Dharti Di”

Maddar Bhaddar Kaikay Sanskritic Sangathan (MBKSS) a literary & cultural organization organized a book release function. The special invitees Minister for Roads & Buildings Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak and S S Anand Lehar advocate Supreme Court jointly released the book "Bas Dharti Di" authored by Mangal Dass Dogra.
Charak in his presidential address congratu¬lated the host organization for its effort to encourage the writers and authors to promote the Dogri language. He also said that it is our prime duty to make aware the people of this land about the great loss of cultural heritage and as such every effort should be made to preserve folk art, cultural and Dogri language. He appreciated the organization in this regard and exhorted the writers community to work hard for the preservation or valuable treasure or Dogra heritage.
While S S Anand Lehar in his address explained that MBKSS is a unique and committed platform towards the preservation and pro¬motion of the folk cultural, History and Art of this land of brave Dogras.
To start with Dr S P Srivastava presented the paper about the book released here today later the programme followed by a Seminar on folk-lore of Duggar in which five papers were presented by S.Puran chand Badgotra, Mangal Dass Dogra, Dr.Gian Singh, Dr. Neelam Sareen and Prof Shiv Nirmohi respec¬tively. Dr Chanchal Bhasin conducted the proceedings of the occasion.

The program was graced by N D Jamwal Mohan Singh, Shiv dev Singh, Dr.Champa Sharma, Yash Sharma, Virendra Kesar, Dr. Archna Kesar. Dr.Harish Kaila, Girdhari Lal Rahi and Dr.Neeraj Baru.
