'Provoked' by persistent harassment by her spouse, a mother of six axed her husband to death after taking him to a secluded place.
The decomposed body was recovered today by a police party from near by forests in Kund area, following which police immediately swung into action and solved the blind murder case during which it unfolded that a woman axed her husband to death at and then got a false missing report lodged in Police station.
Sources informed that one Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Abdul Majid Bhat had gone missing on May 14 following which the parents lodged an FIR no. 116 /2007with Police Station Qazigund.
During the investigation the needle of doubt pointed towards the wife of the missing person, Akhter who was picked by the police.
