| Awareness camp at village Chinkah | | |
REASI, May 20
Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences and Technology organized an awareness camp at village Chinkah in Arnas block of tehsil Mahore in Reasi the other day.
About 50 farmers of village Chinkah and adjoining areas participated in the awareness camp. During interaction with the farmers the scientists made the farmers aware regarding the certified seeds of different crops, disease management, pest management, veterinary, seed treatment besides concerned problems were also discussed. Besides, hybrid seeds of vegetables were also distributed among the participating farmers on the occasion.
The officers concerned officers asked the farmers to adopt latest methods in the field of agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and fisheries to raise their socio economic standards.
