Sixteen persons were arrested by the Railway Protection Force at the station here for alleged violation the Railway Act, including travelling without tickets, official sources said.
Thirteen persons were arrested for travelling without tickets in trains and three for illegally selling eatables in violation of the law, they said.
A fine of Rs 4,500 was realised from them before they were let off, they said.
