GCW Parade celebrates 'Quami Ekta Week' 11/26/2014 11:01:32 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 26: NSS Unit of GCW Parade today celebrated 'Quami Ekta Week'. According to press release, the celebrations began on November 19, 2014 and were a week along event. The Quami Ekta Week was observed under the chairmanship of the Principal of the College Professor Hemla Aggarwal and guidance of NSS Programme officer, Professor Richpal Singh and Professor Shivali Gupta. The week began with the volunteers of NSS going to orphanage, Amphalla and enacting a Nukkar Natak on cleaniness. A poster making competition, a slogan writing competition and a symposium, followed this. The weeklong celebrations culminated on November 25 with prize distribution ceremony where winners of the various competitions were facilitated. Sheetal Sharma won the first prize in poster making, Mehak Mahajan in slogan making and Mukeshi won the prize in symposium.
