In Order to review the implementation of Roshni Act, pending Revenue cases and grievances of the people relating to revenue, Additional deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Mr. Laj Ram convened a meeting here today.
SDM, Basohli, Mr. Ashish Dhar, Tehsildars of Hiranagar, Billawar, Basohli, Kathua, Naib Tehsildars, Girdwars and other revenue functionaries attended the meeting.
The Tehsildars apprised the ADC about the progress made in this regard and also apprised that due to shortage of staff they are facing great problems in achieving the requisite targets. The ADC enquired from the Tehsildars about the pending revenue cases, mutations attested and other court proceedings etc.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Laj Ram impressed upon the revenue officers to create awareness among the masses regarding the Roshni Act.
