| Jammu, Nov 26: J&K Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (JKNGSEA) today called on Director General Economics and Statistics and held a threadbare discussion over their long pending demands. According to press release, a delegation under the presidentship of PS Jamwal called upon Director and urged him to take necessary steps to address their demands. Their demands including DPC of Incharge SOs, SAs and JSAs, Quasi permanent order of JSAs, SAs and SOs, training of JSAs, SAs, refresher of SOs instead of examination, regularization of consolidated/ casual/daily wagers who have completed seven years of service, clearance of Pay dues of statistical personnel attached in various offices, modification of transfer orders particularly of female/physically disable, medically unfit officials, who have been posted in far flung areas in different CD blocks beside others. Director General Reyaz Ahmed Banday gave a patient hearing to their demands and assured them to take requisite steps to address their demands. HR Bhagat, Showkat Ahmed Shah, Jaswant Singh, Ravinder Singh, Masood Simnani and Mehboob Iqbal were among the delegation members. |
