Budding sculptors’ works on exhibition

Jammu May 21—
Sculptures by an upcoming and talented young artists of Cultural Academy’s Institute of Music and Fine Arts were exhibited at Kala Kendra today.
In the exhibition the displayed items were the Hanging Pot, Blue Mountains, Buckle, School Bag, Fish Bag and The Intruder, which attracted the attention of the audience.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Director Doordarshan Kendra Jammu Mahesh Chopra. Director Radio Kashmir Jammu, K.C. Dubey and Secretary Cultural Academy Dr Rafeeq Masoodi were the chief guests.
Speaking on the inauguration ceremony Masoodi appreciated the impressive work by the young artists and also assured that the J&K Academy of Arts and Culture will help the budding artists of the state to exhibit their talent at national and International level.
Additional Secretary T. R. Sharma, J&K Cultural Academy Jammu presented the vote of thanks. The Exhibition will remain open till May 27.
