Principal DIET serves show cause notices to erring officials 11/28/2014 11:34:48 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Nov 28: Following guidelines from Director School Education (DSE), RA Inqalabi regarding monitoring government schools, Pardeep Sharma, Principal DIET conducted surprise visits to various schools and served show cause notices to concerned two headmasters over their laxity in maintain school records and to streamline MId Day Meal scheme properly. Official spokesperson said that during inspection of Mid Day Meal (MDM) record at Govt Middle School Upper Gurain, the visiting authority found that eighty kilograms of rice were shown to be in the possession of school management and to its contrary the school authorities have only four kilograms in hand as physical records. "Beside this only one teacher was present in the school in the second half, he stated while at Govt Primary School Nain Sukh and Govt Middle School Gurian, spokesperson said that Principal DIET Pardeep Sharma found that attendance regarding arrival/departure of the staff was not closed. After inspection he issued show cause notices to the concerned headmasters under whose jurisdiction these schools fall. Pertinent to mention Director School Education, RA Inqalabi vide order DSEJ/PO/20196-210 dtd 16/11/14 has directed all the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) of Jammu province to ensure monitoring of government schools to adopt schools under their jurisdiction and made them responsible for smooth functioning/ punctuality of staff in these schools.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
