Although Salahuddin has stated that Pakistan presently is only extending diplomatic, political and moral support to the Jihadis and calling on it to exercise the option of armed support and military intervention is only a thinnely veiled admission of the terrorist and Pak authories acting in Unisom and supplementing each other. Salahuddin's stress on the proposals mooted by Parvez Mushraf to form the basis of the agreement between the two countries for resolving the tangle is in a way U-turn from the earlier professed stand of the Jihadis in opposing President Parvez Mushraf proposals as well as the path of negotiations initiated by Mushrraf for evolving the common agreed solution of the issue. It should now be quite clear that the proposals mooted by Pak President had the tacit support of the Jihadis and their public opposition to the same was only a tactical one.
