Pak cat is out of bag
8/8/2006 8:02:50 PM
Pakistan, which has already fired one more salvo to cause deadlock in the on going Indo-Pak peace process and bring sourness in the relation between the two countries by declaring Indian diplomat in Islamabad, Deepak Koul as persona non grata, treating him shabbily by handcuffing him and then ordering him to leave Pakistan within 48 hours, making India to retaliate with Pakistani diplomat of equal status being ordered to leave India, has almost rocked the relation between the two countries, this time by threatening through " Hawala" are proxy to spread terrorism all over India, if Kashmir problem is not solved soon. The threat hurned by Hizbul Mujahdin Chief and Supreme Commander of United Jihad Council of terrorists that if Kashmir issue is not resolved amicably, in keeping with the proposals suggested by Pak President Parvez Mushraf, the on going Kashmiri secessionist terrorism will not remain confined to J&K, but will spread to all other parts of India. In fact the Mumbai serial blast were aimed at conveying to the government of India the impatience of the terrorists, acting in proximity with the authorities in Pakistan and pressuring it to resolve the tangle on the basis of Parvez Musharaf's proposals, otherwise face the consequences. The Mumbai serial blasts were only a sample of the things to come in case of India's failure to accept the terms offered by Musharaf to which the terrorists are in agreement. There is every reason for India to take the threat given by Salahuddin as the Pak government firing from the shoulder of the Chief of the United Jihad Council of terrorist. With these outburst by salahuddin the Pakistani cat has come out of the bag. The Pakistani pretention that Salahuddin is not in that country or in Pok and that he and his outfit has not been given any license by the Pak government to use the territory under Pak control for carrying on terrorist activities against India. Salahuddin's demand that Pak government should intervene militarily to resolve the Kashmir issue in fact is a clear devise used by Pakistan to convey to India its evil intentions in case peaceful negotiations for resolving the issue do not bear the desired results from their view point. Although Salahuddin has stated that Pakistan presently is only extending diplomatic, political and moral support to the Jihadis and calling on it to exercise the option of armed support and military intervention is only a thinnely veiled admission of the terrorist and Pak authories acting in Unisom and supplementing each other. Salahuddin's stress on the proposals mooted by Parvez Mushraf to form the basis of the agreement between the two countries for resolving the tangle is in a way U-turn from the earlier professed stand of the Jihadis in opposing President Parvez Mushraf proposals as well as the path of negotiations initiated by Mushrraf for evolving the common agreed solution of the issue. It should now be quite clear that the proposals mooted by Pak President had the tacit support of the Jihadis and their public opposition to the same was only a tactical one.
