| NSUI takes out rally on death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi | | |

Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs, Babu Singh today flagged off a rally of National Students Union of India (NSUI) from Jammu University (JU) on the occasion of 16th death anniversary of former Prime Minister and Congress leader Rajiv Gandhi. The rally culminated at Congress office Shahidi Chowk after passing through all the city colleges. Congress leader Vikas Dutt also accompanied the rally.
The rally was taken out under the leadership of Mehboob Azad, Gen Secretary NSUI, Raman Mangotra, District President and Vivek Gupta, City President. The rally started after flagging off by the minister, passed through all the major colleges MAM College, Gandhi Nagar Women College, Science College, Commerce College, Women College Parade Ground and then assembled at Congress office at Shadhi Chowk, where floral tributes were paid to the Late Rajiv Gandhi. Slogans were shouted.
