| PDP will work for all round development of remote areas: Vikramaditya Singh | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, senior leader of the party Vikramaditya Singh today addressed public meetings at remote and backward areas of Ghordhi and Bharmeen in Chenani Assembly Constituency.
According to the people they have been neglected by successive governments. They have tried previous governments but were disappointed because no government has so far paid any attention towards their problems. Now they have high expectations from PDP.
Speaking on the occasion Vikrmaditya Singh expressed his concern over the plight of the people of this area he assured that this discrimination will end soon. Expressing satisfaction over high turnout of voters during first phase of election Vikramaditya Singh said that this has proved that people in general have decided to vote for change and this situation is not going to benefit BJP or any other party because they will not be able to form government, he added.
He claimed that PDP is sure to form new government in the state because the people have realized that only Mufti Mohd. Sayeed can lead the govt. and solve their problems. YuvrajVikramaditya Singh said that PDP believes in serving the developmental and governance related needs of the people with sincerity and dedication.
Praising Mufti MohdSayeed for his qualities, dedication and fairness, Vikramaditya Singh said that during his previous tenure systematic reforms in the fields of power generation, roads and bridges, tourism, healthcare, irrigation and education were made possible and this process will continue during the next tenure also.
He further said that PDP is the only party which strives for unity, solidarity, brotherhood and equitable development of all regions of the state. Vikramaditya Singh said that time has come to install a government in the state which is fully accountable and answerable to the people. A vote for PDP is necessary to end corruption favoritism and loot of funds.
Referring to the local candidate Hans Raj Kalhotra, Vikramaditya Singh said that he is a dedicated person who will do his best to solve your problems. He said that new PDP Government will be dedicated to the cause of the people and will ensure that the benefits of development and policies reaches to the remotest areas of the state.
PDP always stood for welfare and upliftment of the common man and fought for their legitimate rights, he said and added that decisive forces have been exploiting the poor and the people of remote areas by showing them such dreams which they cannot fulfill.
Promising to get the local problems solved, Singh exhorted the people to vote and support the party candidates and see the results. PDP Candidate Hans Raj Kalhotra, ManojKhajuria, Ch, Ziafyet Ali Phammdra, Ajaz Sumbria, Baldev Singh, Nasirull Wani and Dr. NaseemChowdhry also spoken in the public meetings. |
