NC sarpanch shot dead in Shopian 11/30/2014 11:06:08 PM Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 30: Suspected militants today shot dead a Sarpanch of ruling National Conference in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday. Sources told Early Times the gunmen fired upon Muhammad Sultan Bhat, 38, son of Abdul Rehman Bhat near his home at Nazneenpora Shopian this evening. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
