JAMMU, Nov 30: Trikuta Volleyball Club felicitated former national level spiker and Inspector with J&K Police, Shakti Sharma for her exceptional achievement on United Nations (UN) mission.
Both chairman of the Club, Amarjeet Singh and secretary, Mulkh Raj Sharma highlighted the spirit of sports and passion for the duty in Shakti Sharma.
Important to mention here that Shakti represented Jammu and Kashmir at the national level competitions between 1992 and 1996. She has been honoured with the international female police peacekeeper award, 2014 at the 52nd international association of women police conference Winnipeg, Canada.
Also present in the felicitation function were Abid Shah, Manpreet Kour, Rimpy Sharma, Seema Sharma, Nirmal Khajuria, Rajesh Virdhi and Ritu. |
