Kathua, Nov 30: Darshan Singh an independent candidate contesting from Basohli constituency today said that outsider has dominated Basohli and massive revolt is broken out against them favoring local candidate.
Being a local resident, I dare contest the election with an objective to infuse the courage among the locals of Basohali constituency to quell the domination of outside leadership which has been prevailing and even snubbing the innocent local population since long, Darshan said.
"Lal Singh who attained a period of 20 years ruling over the Basohli has befooled the innocent people of the constituency and even snubbed their voice with an intention to kill the growth of local leadership", he added. Darshan said roads, water electricity and tourism issues which are still unaddressed and staying as "never solved issues". Outside leadership has ever adopted discriminatory approaches towards the Basohli. It has exploited the Basohali on the name of development but happened in contrary. So far as sitting MLA JagdishSapolia is concerned he was also exposed as a traitor he sold out himself during the MLCs election and even proved as quite failure MLA of Basohli on all fronts. It is urgent need of the hour to make conscious locals politically to grab their political right to get freedom from the outside leadership and unfair local leadership also, that's why my decision to contest the election as an independent MLA from the Basohali constituency came to happen, Darshan said. |
