| Three killed, one injured in road mishaps | | | Jammu, Nov 30 : Three persons were killed while one other received injuries in separate road mishaps at different places. Police sources said that two persons riding a motorcycle were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with an auto-rickshaw at NauDevian point on Katra-Reasi Road. .The deceased have been identified as Pawan Kumar (19) son of Puran Chand of KotliManyotrian and Veeru (32) son of Tej Ram of SirlaBhaga. Police sources said that accident took place at NauDevian point on Katra-Reasi road when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with an auto-rickshaw.
The collision was so potent that youth driving the motorcycle Pawan died on spot while the pillion succumbed to his injuries during treatment. A case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on. Meanwhile, a man undergoing treatment at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) succumbed today.
The deceased has been identified as Roop Lal son of Gian Chand of Radiyan Vijaypur. Police sources said that Roop received injuries when the motorcycle he was riding on collided with a cycle at Vijaypur on Saturday. While another Ravi Kumar son of KewalKrishan of Vijaypur received injuries in this accident. |
