Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 30 : People's Democratic Party (PDP) contesting candidate from Jammu West Assembly segment Sarv Daman Bhasin today intensified the door-to-door (D2D) campaign in Ward number 9, UstadMohalla area of the constituency to seek the public votes in favour of the party.
Meanwhile Bhasin also opened the sub office of the party at Exchange Road Jammu along with numbers of senior party leaders where prominent people of the area joined the party. Among those prominent political activists who joined the party included TahirRana, MohdJameel, and Ramakant Sharma.
Another meeting was held by Bhasin at Ward number 16, New Plot area where people apprised him about the burning issues and long pending demands including irregular power cuts and insanitation issues particularly.
After listening to the issues highlighted by locals, Bhasin assured that he will highlight and address these issues on priority for a time bound solution if he gets the public mandate. While addressing the locals during different party meetings, Bhasin took a dig at the incumbent MLA for his failure to highlight the basic issues of the constituency in the House of Legislatures.
He said that the development in the assembly segment is confined up to papers and laying foundation stones owing to which the people are feeling befooled and ditched in the hand of incumbent MLA.
"No development work has been taken in hand or executed for the last six years of the MLA in power", he said.
Appealing voters to vote in large in favour of PDP in the assembly elections, he assured that if public mandate is announced in his favour, he will take up all the developmental projects for the overall and holistic development of the Jammu West Assembly constituency.
Other senior leaders who accompanied Bhasin included SardarRangeel Singh, Vinod Sharma, K.D. Singh, S.R. Bali, Gurpreet Singh, ShishuGandotra and Sikandar Khan.
