| Jammu west stands deceived by BJP: Shingari | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30: Congress candidate from Jammu west constituency appealed to the people of Jammu West to vote on the basis of merit of public service and past performance of the contesting candidates.
He said that in last elections people of Jammu posed their trust in BJP who, in turn, deceived not only the cause of Jammu west but the entire Jammu region by resorting to unfair means in assembly.
Shingari said that as a face saving exercise, the BJP high command suspended its MLAs just to put dust in the eyes of people of Jammu for the time being. But this has proved to be a staged drama when, for the sake of election, all such actors were taken back into the party. Eventually, these actors were not given the party tickets to wrap up the party's deception so that innocent voter may not see it. "If the BJP is having clean hands why such actors are taken back into the party who had deceived the Jammu?" Shingari asked. "In fact they are taken back as an attempt to set another stage of deceptive drama where there will be no one to take care of Jammu west constituency" He added.
Commenting upon the so called "Lalkar Rallies" by BJP Shingari termed them as 'Ahankar Rallies' which are staged with the involvement of cores of rupees. "Such rallies are clear reflection of ego and lies of BJP leadership to create confusion and misinformation. They are not taking into account the merits of their candidates. They are just talking about number of seats. For them voting for assembly election is a vote for central leader and so there is a need of meritorious candidate. How one can go Delhi to resolve problem of his locality?" he said. |
