| Ammunition recovered near Border | | |

Police today recovered a large quaninty of ammunition in village Barsalpur at R S Pura that was hidden in the area. According to reports, today a girl namely Jyoti Raina daughter of Mohan Singh resident of Barsalpur grazing the cattles in the area saw a bag which was hidden in the nullah and informed other villagers who informed the police. After receiving information, a police team rushed to spot and recovered one AK47 Rifle, 6 magazines, 2 grenades, one wire cutter and two pouches from the spot.
Sources said after the recovery, police launched a search operation in the area and police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile in another incident, army recovered some ammunition from a house in Dhobipura.
According to reports, today army booked a specific information that some ammunition was dumped in the area and after booking the information, a team swung in to action and launched a search operation in the area and recovered one 12 bore gun, SLR rounds 21, Chines grenade 2, RPG Shell 1, Gelatin shell 5, Prepare IED 2, Detonator 2, Electric wire 60 meter and 6 iron shraperd from the house of one Sanullah son of Late Hajjam resident of Dhobipura during searching.
