| Jnana Prabodhini team visits Ju | | | Jammu | may 22 The members of Jnana Prabodhini a voluntarily organization from Sada Shiv Peth, Pune Maharashtra today, visited the University of Jammu to interact with the students under the programme “Friendship Call to Kashmir”. The motto of the organization is to nurture the potential of the people to bring about a healthy and sustainable change in their personal and social life, sharing of knowledge and skills for increasing quality of life of one and all. The students of the University of Jammu interacted with the members of the Jnana Prabodhini on the issue related to the Research, Education, Development, Health, Women Empowerment and Improvement in Energy and Agriculture etc. The issues raised by the students were ably satisfied by the visiting team members. Prof. N.R. Sharma, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee addressing the gathering said that changing our society is a Herculean task and what is perhaps needed is “Meeting of Minds” of thinking minds that want to change things for better. Earlier Dr. P.S. Pathania, Dean Students Welfare in his welcome address said that such voluntarily organizations by joining hands with the University students can play a vital role in transforming the society.
