Srinagar, August 08 – Chief Justice of J&K High Court, Justice B. A. Khan has been Honoured at the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Indian Law Institute at New Delhi yesterday. The prestigious law institute set up in 1956 is an international centre of repute for advanced socio-legal research. The Institute has rendered a significant work in the field of legal research, education and training.
The Institute has made notable contribution in the field of law making it as an instrument of Social Engineering. Chief Justice of India is Ex-Offico President of the Institute. The Union Law Minister and Attorney General of India are the Ex-Offico Vice-Presidents of the Institute. Justice Khan is the member of governing Council of the Institution. Mr. Khan was felicitated for his contribution to the institute as the member of its Governing Council. |
