| Court frames corruption charges against IFFCO official | | |
JAMMU, MAY 23
Special Judge, Anticorruption Jammu, Mr. Kartar Singh today framed charges against T N Pandita, the then Field Officer IFFCO Gowdowns at Chatta Jammu.
According to the case, Pandita during his posing as Field Officer IFFCO Gowdown Chatta Jammu in 2002 and being Incharge Fertilizer for distribution to State Cooperative Societies in J&K by misusing his official position committed criminal breach of trust and fraudulently misappropriated 102.78 mts Urea valuing at Rs 5, 29, 178.
Mr Kartar Singh while framing charge observed that TN Pandita committed offences U/Ss 5(2) r/w section 5(1) (c) (d) PC Act 2006 BK and 409 RPC and directed the prosecution to lead the evidence on the next date of hearing.
