| J&K Wrestling team leaves for National Wrestling Championship | | |

The J&K Wrestling Association have selected 17 Wrestlers for their participation in 26th Boy Free style, Greeco Roman Style and 10th girls Sub-junior (Cadet), national Wrestling Championship to be held at Anandpur Sahib (Punjab) under the ages of wrestling Federation of India. The final selection and screening of the team was held at Wrestling Hall M.A.M. Stadium, Jammu under the supervision of General Secretary of J&K Wrestling Association Dushyant Sharma and members screening committee of J&K Sports Council Ajay Sharma and sports officer Krishan Lal Sharma. The president of the J&K Wrestling Association Kuldeep Khoda IPS ADGP J&K gave full assurance to wrestlers who are participating this tournament and informed that wrestlers who won the medal in this tournament will be suitably rewarded by the J&K Wrestling Association.
The other members of the J&K Wrestling Association also present their during the selection trail are Vijay Pahalwan, Kulbir Singh, Ajay Vaid, Raju Sharma, Kimti Lal, Ravi Kumar and S.A.I. coach Babu Ram of sports authority of India and others members of the J&K Wrestling Association. T eh team will leave for tournament on 23rd May 2007.
