On the directions of Chief Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, District Development Commissioner Doda, Mr Sourabh Bhagat convened a meeting a meeting of officers of all the departments and locals as well as to take stock of development scenario in Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts.
DDC Kishtwar Mr Sahid Innayat Ullah and DDC, Ramban Mr. A.D. Shanas, all district officers, sectoral officers, SDMs, Tehsildars, BDOs, ZEOs, engineers and field functionaries attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed deliberated upon sector-wise physical and financial achievements registered during 2006-07 besides discussing future strategy for 2007-08 like PHE, Health, Communications, Power Development, Bharat Nirman Schemes, Education, tourism development under Bhadarwah Development Authority and the status of other major ongoing projects including bridges and roads.
Mr. Bhagat stressed on convening regular meetings of all the departments to ensure result oriented achievements at the ground level with greater transparency and accountability.
He asked the concerned officers to ensure early completion of welfare projects in view of the limited working season in hilly parts of these districts.
