The imported finger board properly mounted on a steel structure was inaugurated by a prominent literacy figure of the state, Prof Lalit Magotra in the presence of general secretary of Mountaineering Association of J&K, Ram Khajuria and secretary of Tawi Trekkers, Shawetica Khajuria.
Prominent among others present were Rahul Sharma and Arti Sharma, both Directors of Sprawling Buds School and Sonam Sidharth, joint secretary of Tawi Trekkers.
Speaking to the gathering, Ram Khajuria, who is also secretary Indian Mountaineering Foundation North Zone Committee, New Delhi, thanked the management of the school for providing quality infrastructure to the J&K climbers and hoped that with the installation of first ever such climbing board would go a long way in encouraging the young trainees.
