| Cancellation order stayed | | HC restrains JDA from allotment of plot | |
JAMMU, MAY 24
Justice YP Nargotra of Jammu and Kashmir High Court, Jammu wing, in a petition filed by one Ravi Chander challenging the order of JDA passed on April 26, 2007, issued notice to Vice-Chairman JDA, State of J&K through Commissioner/ Secretary Housing and Urban Development Department and Secretary JDA, Jammu and ordered that in the meanwhile order NO JDA/P/RN/CL/869-74 dated April 26, 2007 shall remain stayed and plot No 8-A/1-A situated at Rajinder Nagar Housing Colony, Bantlab, Jammu, shall not be allotted to any other person subject to objections from other sides.
According to the Advocate SK Anand the petitioner applied for a plot and the same was allotted to him after completing all the formalities but the JDA later cancelled the allotment which was challenged by the petitioner.
