Peerzada extends Rakshabandhan greetings to people

Srinagar, August 08 – JKPCC President and Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayed has greeted the people on the eve of Rakshabandhan which denotes the spirit of protection and love between brother and sister.
In a message, Peerzada said that such festivals are part of our glorious and composite cultural heritage that spreads the message of love and harmony. He said this festival teaches us the scared relation between brother and sister and added that mankind must draw inspiration by this selfless love and promote inter community amity and cultivate a sense of accommodation amidst people of various faiths.
Peerzada said that on this occasion, the Muslim brethren are looking forward for return of Kashmiri Pandits to their native areas where they live. He also said this festival bring peace and prosperity in the state.
