| One killed, two injured in accidents | | |

One person was killed and two others got serious injuries in two separate road accidents in Jammu city during the last 24 hours.
According to reports last night an unknown vehicle hit a pedestrian at Main stop Gandhi Nagar and the residents took the injured to the hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. However, the driver of the vehicle fled away. The identity of the victim is yet to be established, the report added. Police has registered a case.
Meanwhile, Anju Basin wife of Virender Basin resident of Rehari and Ram Charan son of Pandu Ram of Kathua sustained injures when hit by a scooter at Rehari and Kathua respectively. Later both were hospitalized.
