| 7th District Level Science Exhibition concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Dec 19: A valedictory function of 7th District Level Science Exhibition was organised by DIET Kud at Govt Boys HSS Udhampur on Friday in which Balbir Singh CEO Udhampur was present as chief guest
Other dignitaries present on this occasion included V.K. Soni Principal DIET Kud, a panel of Judges from SIE Jammu comprsing namely M.L Kailu Retd. Joint Director, S K Gandotra Retd. Joint Director, Ramesh Kant Retd. Principal DIET, Ram Rattan Sharma Retd. Principal DIET and others. On this occasion a cultural programme was presented by the school children.
In his address, the chief guest Balbir Singh appreciated and student and teachers who helped in getting the science models created to explore their talents. At the same time he also lauded the working of DIET Kud for organising such type of activities and announced holiday to the schools which have participated in the exhibition. Later chief guest distributed prizes to the winner schools and consolation prizes to other schools.
Atleast 110 models were displayed consisting of 35 Elementary, 50 Secondary and 25 HSS Schools of District Udhampur in which a panel of expert declared Govt MS Manthal, MS Little Flower and Bright Carrier top three winners in middle school category whereas HS Shanti Niktan, Govt HS Bhartia Vidya Mandir and Govt Girl HS Ramnagar were declared first three winners respectively in High School category. Meantime Govt HSS Jaganoo, Govt HSS Krimachi and Govt HSS Garhi were declared winners respectively in higher secondary category.
Earlier Principal DIET Kud V K Soni presented the annual report of DIET in which he highlighted the various projects undertaken by the DIET.
HOD's of DIET Kud namely J M Tharmatt, R S Gandral, Rashpal Singh Chauhan, Ved Parkash Sharma, Smt Sarita Rani, Sudesh Kumar, Lecturer DIET Kud, Principal's, ZEO's, Headmasters etc of District Udhampur were also present on the valedictory occasion |
