Police today arrested a person, who raped a lady in Indira Nagar area of Kishtwar while grazing cattle. According to reports, a lady namely Boyi, wife of Mohd Shafi of Ramnagar who was on her way to her home along with cattle, was repeatedly raped by Surjeet Kumar, son of Ishwar Singh of Hidyal while taking rest in the mid way. After the incident, she informed the matter to police which registered a case in this regard. This morning, the accused was arrested from a hideout and police investigating the matter.
