JAMMU, Dec 21: MV International School celebrated its 10th Annual Day Function "ZEST" at Gen Zorawar Singh Auditorium today. It was a gala event of mammoth size, wherein the school showcased its landmark achievements amidst a colourful cultural programme.
Sushma Chouhan, IAS, Vice Chairperson Jammu Development Authority and KiranWattal, Commissioner, Jammu Munici-pal Corporation were the guests of honour while Rakesh Gupta, President, Chamber of Commerce & Industries, Jammu was the special invitee. Earlier the Chairman of the school Hira Lal Abrol, Vice Chairperson Savita Abrol, Directors Gourav Abrol Aakriti Abrol and the Principal K L Dogra welcomed the guests and the parents to the function.
The Chairman in his address emphasized on the importance of quality education, sound health and moral values in the holistic development of children. He further stressed on the role of school and parents in the collective upbringing of these future citizens of the nation.
The Guests of Honour gave away the prizes to the toppers in academics, 100 % score in CBSE exams, 100% attendance, National and State level champions in Robotics, Speed ball, Martial Arts and Olympiads and various other competitions. |
