Counting arrangements finalized at Samba 12/22/2014 12:03:42 AM Early Times Report SAMBA, Dec 21: The District Election Officer, Samba Mubarak Singh today convened a meeting to discuss and finalize the required arrangements for the smooth conduct of the counting of votes on December 23, 2014 for two Assembly Constituencies 68 -Samba and 69- Vijaypur of District Samba. Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba, Returning Officers, Nodal Officers, Micro Observers besides officers of various Departments attended the meeting. The District Election Officer appraised that adequate security arrangement and other logistic arrangements in the Campus and counting halls have been made for the smooth conduct of the counting process as per the provisions of ECI. It was informed in the meeting that the counting of votes for Assembly constituencies of 68-Samba, and 69 Vijaypur constituencies will be held in two counting halls at DC Complex Nandni Hills Samba. It was also informed that all required arrangements have been put in place with logistic facilities around all the counting halls. Later, the District Election Officer visited counting centers and took stock of the arrangements. Dr. M.
