JAMMU, Dec 21: Mega ‘Janamotsav’ (birthday) celebrations have begun at the Holy Samadhi Sathal of His Holiness Shree Dewarika Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj in Sohanjana, Jammu.
On this auspicious occasion, “Shree Ram Katha” is being solemnized at the Holy Samadhi Sathal from December 23 to 29, 2014, which will be recited by world famous religious scholar Dr. Atul Krishan Bhardwaj Ji Maharaj.
While giving details of the ‘Janamotsav’ celebrations here in Jammu today, Swami Gangadhar Ji Maharaj, son and direct disciple of Shree Dewarika Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj, informed that like every year the birthday of Shree Shastri Ji Maharaj is being celebrated with full religious fervor and gaiety at the Holy Samadhi Sathal, for which all arrangements have been completed.
“As part of the celebrations, Shree Ram Katha is being solemnized at the Holy Samadhi Sathal from December 23 to 29, which will be recited by the world renowned preacher and religious scholar, Dr. Atul Krishan Ji Maharaj,” he said, adding, “The recitation of Shree Ram Kathua will be held from 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM daily during these days.”
“Besides, a Rath Yatra will be taken out on December 25, 2014, the birthday of Shree Dewarika Nath Shastri Ji Maharaj, which will start from 10.00 AMfrom the Holy Samadhi Sathal in Sohanjana and after passing through more than 40 adjoining villages, will conclude at the Holy Samadhi Sathal late in the afternoon,” Swami Ji apprised. |
