JAMMU, Dec 22: Jammu and Kashmir Indian Style Wrestling Association today felicitated Arjun Awardee international wrestler and DySP with Haryana Police, Ravinder Singh Sangwan on latter's visit to holy town of Katra.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games gold winner and a bronze medalist in the 16th Asian Games held in the same year, Ravinder was honoured on his visit to the town by president of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma.
Shiv Kumar, who is also treasurer of the Indian Style Wrestling Association of India, told the selected gathering, present in the felicitation function, that Ravinder's achievements at the international level have played a great role in motivating the youngsters.
In the meantime, the visiting wrestler expressed his thanks to the Association, especially, Shiv Kumar Sharma, for the honour. |
