JAMMU, MAY 25
In order to carry out an urgent maintenance work on 132 KV Gladni-Kalakote Transmission Line and 132/33 KV Grid-Station Canal, the power supply in Bhalwal, Thathar, Bantalab, Amb-Gharota, Karravanda, Akhnoor Town, Jourian, Khour, Pallanwala and Rajouri and Poonch districts shall remain affected on May 27, 2007 from 6 a. m to 12 noon.
Similarly, the power supply shall also remain affected on May 27 from 6 a. m to 10 a. m in Guest House, Circuit House, Science College, Old University, Krishna Nagar, Rajinder Nagar, New Company Bagh, PHE, Talab Tillo, Toph, Gho-Manhasan, Trilokpur, Nitco lane, Bhagwati Nagar, Akhnoor road, Bohri, Airport Satwari, Ashok Nagar, Raipur Satwari, part of Shastri Nagar, Nai Basti, Chatha, Old Satwari, Khandwal, Bhour Camp, Lalyal, Bakshi Nagar, Medical College and part of Rehari Colony, Sarwal, New Plot, etc.
According to the Superintending Engineer Electric Maintenance & RE Circle-I Jammu, the power shut down shall be subject to fair weather conditions.
