| DDC distributes cheques at Reasi | | |
REASI, MAY 25
To provide financial assistance under National Family Benefit Scheme to the widows hailing from various areas of Reasi and Pouni in the Reasi district, the District Development Commissioner Reasi Mr Sanjeev Verma distributed cheques amounting Rs.1 lakh @ Rs.10,000 to each widow here at Reasi today.
The DDC enquired regarding other centrally sponsored schemes like National Old Age Pension Scheme, Integrated Social Security Scheme etc for the benefit of rural people living Below Poverty Line. The concerned officer gave a detailed appraisal to the DDC regarding that are being implemented in Reasi district particularly to provide financial assistance to the deserving populace schemes going on in the Reasi district provide financial assistance at the grass root level.
District Social Welfare Officer Udhampur, Programme Officer, Integrated Child Development Services Udhampur and Tehsil Social Welfare Officer Reasi were also present on the occasion.
