| Charak addresses convention of JKPCC employees | | |
Srinagar, May 25
Minister for R&B Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak has said that JKPCC needs to be made more vibrant and viable for speedy execution of development works in the state besides being more profitable.
Minister was addressing JKPCC employees' convention here last evening. He said that we have to work with dedication and honesty to achieve this goal. He said the corporation has efficient staff in all cadres and need is to deliver with more devotion for betterment of corporation and state.
Mr. Charak said that in present context the corporation has to work on modern lines for which it needs to have latest machinery for construction work to compete with other multinational companies. He said that there is no dearth of work to corporation, but the works taken already by it should be completed in the prescribed timeframe.
He said due to the liberal funding of central government the state has launched various developmental projects and option for completion of these projects is JKPCC. He said in past JKPCC has also done a remarkable role for the development of the state.
Referring the demands of employees, Mr. Charak said that he would look into these demands to redress them in phased manner.
On the occasion Executive Managing Director JKPCC, Chairman Employees Union and President were also present.
