| Bhagat ridicules adversaries of demilitarization | | | Jammu May-26 Ridiculing the adversaries of demilitarization and self rule, BJP General Secretary and former MLA, Bali Bhagat said here today that these emotive and divisive slogans are only giving boost terrorism, secessionism, communalism and negative vote bank politics and called for stringent laws to deal with the terrorist-politician nexus. In a press release, the BJP General Secretary stressed the need of banning those so-called political leaders from contesting elections who preach secessionism and fundamentalism and have overt or covert links with the terrorists. Describing the Round Table Conference recommendations of working groups as the ‘naked manifestation of Kashmir centric and appeasement policy’ of UPA Govrnment, Bali Bhagt said the people of Jammu and Ladakh have already distanced from these pro-militant and pro-separatist recommendations detrimental to harm the vital national interests and discourage and demoralize the partriotic people of both the regions. Expressing concern over the recommendations of various Working Groups including withdrawal of Amed Forces Special Powers Act, Disturbed Act and smiliar other anti-terrorist laws, the BJP leader asked how can any sovereign country allow such things to happen and allow the subversives to undermine the unity and integrity of the nation?
