Ranbirpura-Drass constituency record 78 pc polling

Fate of four candidates contesting bi-election from Ranbirpura-Drass constituency of LAHDC, Kargil has been sealed in the ballot boxes. More than 78 per cent voters exercised their franchise in the bi-election.
The polling which began at 8 am was very low in the morning and started picking up after 11 am. The incident free voting ended at 4:30 PM.
Deputy Commissioner, Kargil R.K. Bhagat accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil visited the several polling stations. The election observer Ali Mohammed Dar also visited polling stations and took stock of polling proceedings.
