ReT Teachers' Forum to hold protest on January 3 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 28: All Jammu and Kashmir ReT Teachers' Forum on Sundayunanimously decided that they are going to hold protest demonstration in favour of their pending salaries. According to press release, the forum held monthly meeting at exhibition ground Jammu under the chairmanship of state president Vinod Sharma along-with vice president Younis Rahi and provincial president Rajash Singh Jamwal. Speaking on the occasion, president Vinod Sharma showed resentment against the state government which made them suffer for want of release of several months' SSA salary. He said that they had projected this matter before the government so many times but nothing has been done to streamline the SSA salary. He said that regularized ReT Teachers under SSA are without salary for last 3 to 9 months in all the districts of the state and was on the verge of starvation. "If the concerned department will fail to release pending salaries before January 2nd, the forum will hold protest demonstration in this regard. Meanwhile, monthly meeting of Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers also held at Udhampur under the chairmanship of district president Rajesh Paul Singh and zonal presidents, zonal members, district members and large number of teachers participated in the meeting. Bhupinder Singh appealed director school education Jammu to regularize all pending cases of ReT teachers whose regularization files are already submitted in the office of director school education Jammu. He further appealed to upcoming state government to regularize all contractual teachers and daily wagers working in different departments on the pattern of ReT scheme. |
