| PK applauds KPs for upholding Margadarshan Resolution | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 28: President Panun Kashmir (PK) Vijay Bhat, addressing Kashmiri Pandits in a function today applauded the perseverance and commitment of the community in general and the activists in particular in upholding the ideal enshrined in Margdarshan Resolution 1991 for the last 24 years amidst all odds and turbulences.
While branding the Margdarshan Resolution as the only political idiom of the community which has the potential non-refoulment and can lead to a life of dignity and respect for the exiled community in its natural habitat, Vijay Bhat assured the community that this Geo-Political aspiration will soon see the light of the day.
Panun Kashmir carries all the ingredients of International law. The international laws on internal displacement like 'Guiding Principle on Internal Displacement' and 'Declaration on Aboriginals' have vindicated the stand of Panun Kashmir.
While deliberating upon the recent political turn of events after state assembly elections, president Panun Kashmir hailed the historic victory of the nationalist forces in this state and said the trend which has emerged in the state for the first time after accession has consolidated the nationalist forces and must be utilized to establish the Indian nation and state in letter and spirit in J&K.
President Panun Kashmir further said that the results have vindicated the stand of Panun Kashmir that Indian nationhood faces grave threat in Kashmir valley and efforts must be made to strengthen the roots of Indian State in J&K. Any compromise at this stage will not only dampen the spirits of nationalist forces in J&K and strengthen the separatist bogey but might have serious fall out on the territorial integrity of this country. |
