| Shriya Bhatt Hospital organize medical camp | | |

Shirya Bhatt Mission Hospital has brought 50 patients from that Battal Balia camp to Jammu and held a special Dermatology Camp in the hospital premises. Dr. R.K. Khosa the leading dermatologist of Jammu examined thoroughly all the patients. The patients were tested fro blood sugar etc. on spot. All the patients were supplied with free medicine for two months. All the arrangements of tests and transportation etc. were made by the Hospital without any charge.
Dr. Khosa after examining the patients elaborates on the medical finds of these patients. He informed that thee is a high incidence of skin serioses in these c amp inmates in all age groups which have been mostly due to toxic environment spread by industries. He said the situation however deteriorates during the summer because of dry and dusty storms. He informed that more than 50% camp population is suffering with environmental injury to skin.
The camp was organized by a team of social activists viz, Rames Raina, O.N. Bhat, Anil Chowdhury, Sanjay Moza, Sudesh Dhar, C.J. Kak, J.L. Raina under the supervision of Manager of the hospital Sh.R.K. Pandita and Virji Bhat.
