| Gulabgarh-Machail road on BJP's priority: Sharma | | 450 MW Karthie project to be taken in hand in next 6 months | |  Asif Iqbal Naik

Kishtwar, Dec 28: After being elected as MLA Kishtwar, BJP leader Sunil Sharma after paying obeisance at Machail temple in remote Padder village of Kishtwar District held a massive public rally at Gulabgarh and Atholi village, besides meeting with various public delegations.
While addressing the gatherings at different places, MLA Kishtwar Sunil Sharma said that 32 KM Gulabgarh-Machail road will be among the list of top priorities for the BJP. He said that Padder area of Kishtwar District remain under development during National Conference tenure who was representing the Kishtwar constituency since last four decades.
He said that it was under Vajpayee government, the area witnessed some development, added that he will left no stone unturned for the development of the area. He thanked the people of Padder for overwhelming voting for him in this year Assembly elections. He said that neither he nor his government will let the people of Padder to feel disappointed. He said that exploration of Padder Sapphire mines which will create job opportunities for the local unemployed youths is also on the party agenda.
He said that successive government robbed the precious Sapphire mines and uses the money for personal benefits while the villages surrounding these Sapphire mines continue to suffer in terms of road, education, health facility, communication and from all other day to day requirements. He said that important Gulabgarh-Himachal Pradesh road will also be upgraded in next few years, while the work on other local road links will be expedited.
He said that honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured all possible help for the overall development of Kishtwar District, added that tackling with the problem of unemployment among the youths is the key challenge for the BJP leadership of the state. He said that work on 450 MW Karthie I or II will be taken into hands in next six months, wherein local unemployed youths will be given priority.
He said that people of Kishtwar constituency has shown their faith on him, added that he will try his best to come upto the expectation of the people. He said that Kishtwar-Batote road and Kishtwar-Gulabgarh road are the two important life lines for the people of his constituency, added that these two roads along with other roads will be taken care off. He said that Machail Yatra and Padder will be bringing on world tourist map so that the local people could avail the maximum benefits from various tourism related schemes. He was hopeful that BJP will be the part of the next government and assured the people that all the promises made by the party in elections will be fulfilled and issues raised by the people will be addressed. He said that Degree College for Padder announced by Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS in PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh early this year will start functioning shortly. |
