Kathua, Dec 28: Glowing tributes were paid to Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan who was the First Prime Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. A massive function was presided over by Kailash Langer, Gen Secy All India Akhil Bharatiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha, AIABMSS, who was also Chief Guest on the occasion.
The function was organized by Mahajan Sabha Kathua where children presented cultural programmes and seminar on the life history of Justice MC Mahajan. Rajiv Gupta, Secy, AIABMSS, Mahesh Gupta Zonal President, Om Parkash Gupta, Vice- president, Kuldip Malhotra, Distt. President and Dushyant Jandial, Distt Gen. Secy.were also present and spoke on the occasion.
Paying tributes to Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan, Mahesh Gupta, Zonal President said this great man is role model for us and he will always be remembered by the people for his contributions to society and nation as a whole.
He said Mehar Chand Mahajan had played a pivotal role in accession of the State with India and entire State feels proud of him. |
